Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Mash ๐Ÿฝ️

Ingredients:

For the Steak Bites:

1 lb (450 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mash:

2 lbs (900 g) potatoes, peeled and cubed

1/2 cup milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Prepare the Mash:

Cook Potatoes: Place peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.

Mash Potatoes: Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add milk and butter. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper
